-Matt Sharp is replaced by Mike Welsh as Weezer's new bassist. Matt Sharp is quitting to concentrate on his band The Rentals. Mike Welsh played with Rivers at a few shows he did in Boston while attending universtiy. -NEW ALBUM--weezer is in LA now ready to record their 3rd album which will be in stores sometime between July and September(98). Pat Wilson(drummer) is rumored to sing at least two songs on the album.***More News On This To Come*** -Rivers, Matt and some people from the band *Soul Coughing* have a song under the name HOMIE on the disney movie | ||||||||||||||||
